Description

The UNCOMMON Shirts was inspired from a conversation Dr. Nancolas was having with her heavenly Father Jehovah.

“At times I feel alone in my walk with God. Not alone as if he is not with me, he always is, but at times I long to belong in the company of others, and needing human support in my ministry. But because of the work God has assigned to me, I often feel I am walking alone, And not too many are able to sustain the steps they begin to make with me.

So I cried to God one day, telling him at times I feel no one understands me and the work he has assigned to me.

The Lord responded simply saying, “Dione, I did not create you to fit in anywhere. Sometimes I call some to walk alone because of the work they are assigned. In fact, throughout your life, even when you were in a group, you still did not feel like you belonged. If anything, you always tried to be different, you never took the path many take, you were never afraid to stand apart from the rest. You always went against the grain. It is simply because I created you to be UNCOMMON. unique, and set apart. I called you into this earth… FOR ME! I wanted you here and I preserved you for such a time as this. The more you understand this, the less lonelier you will feel”

And God was right. When I looked back over my life’s journey and the friendships and associations I had. I realised I never got to keep them as God was always starting a new chapter in my life where they could not go.

I created this shirt because I feel everyone is UNCOMMON in their own way. There is uniqueness in all of us as God made us, and no two are alike.
